In September, the member of WP3 participated in the conference “ENERGY FROM BIOMASS XXI.” The topic of this regularly organized event was devoted to more special issues of energy use of biomass.
Dr. Lestinsky presented goals, current results and future plans regarding the tasks in WP3. In his presentation he especially focused on the use of biochar in the fields with regard to remediation, restoration of brownfields and post-mining sites together with toxicity assessment.
