On May 26, 2022, a weed control was provided by PhD student Robert Ato Newton, UJEP at the Miscanthus 2021 field established at Chomutov at the post-mining land. Students from Ukraine who are currently at the Summer Internship at UJEP assisted in the work. In 2021 soil in the field was treated by following soil amendments: Sludge, Compost, Digestal, Biochar (latest was applied in doses 5 % and 10%). The experiments were established in four replications. The weeds were manually taken out from the field. The plants which did not survived overwinter were replaced. The field was labelled depending of the soil treatment.
