On March 15, 2022 prof. Pidlisnyuk met with representative of HFT TUD team Mgr. Daniela Einer for finalizing the Draft of the Quick test on using Miscanthus biomass for processing to isolation materials, pulp and biochar. The main work was about including the necessary illustrations (pictures, tables and graphical points) to the text and to schedule the requested dissemination activities. It was agreed to have the ready variant of Guide on April 10, 2022; to edit it in period April 10-25 and to prepare full Guide till May 1. Guide will be published by HFT TUD in May, 2022 and be available in paper and electronic versions. The Guide will be disseminated at the scheduled events of CORNET (May 2022- endusers Consortium meeting, September 2022- Final conference).
Additionally, prof. Pidlisnyuk and Mgr. Einer overviewed the foreseen activities, including the supplying of biomass from Chomutov field (year of 2014) to HFT TUD for production of pulp necessary for production of paper by PTS (WP5). The state with analysis the biomass (rhizomes and abovepart) was discussed taking into account that National University “Lvivska Polytechnika”, Lviv, Ukraine cannot do currently any analysis having the force major conditions connected with Russian invention to Ukraine. It was decided to propose to VSP-TUO to provide the necessary analysis of biomass using their facilities.
The recently produced by TUD HFT building materials from Miscanthus biomass was demonstrated by Mgr. Eirner to prof. Pidlisnyuk.
