July 15, 2020: Kick-off Meeting

Kick-off Meeting of MiscanValue teams was held on July 15, 2020. Because of corona-virus epidemic the event was scheduled online at Zoom platform, hosted by TUD-HFT. Each of the team presented the short overview of the institution, its capacity, team’s members followed by main goals in the related Working packages, expected ways for cooperation with other teams.

At the beginning Mgr.Daniela Einer (TUD-HFT) and Mgr. Radek Horenovsky (WASTen) greeted the participants of the event.  Thereafter the presentations were delivered by Ing. Vojtěch Brož (WASTen),  prof. Valentyna Pidlisniuk (UJEP), prof. Lucie Obalová (VSB-TUO), Mgr. Anna Hubatová-Vacková (CTU), M.Sc. Daniela Einer (TUD-HFT), Dr. Martin Zahel and M.Sc. Manuela Fiedler (PTS); in addition, M.Sc. Daniela Einer did the presentation of behalf of TUD-ASD.

The event followed by intervention from M.Sc. Daniela Einer who introduced the Share-Point platform will be provided by TUD and served for information exchange and sharing the materials, including research results in between all participants of the teams.

Thereafter prof.Valentyna Pidlisniuk introduced the first planned event- workshop on “Best available practice for Miscanthus utilization in the paper industry” will be organized jointly by UJEP and CRI, and M.Sc. introduced the request about signing the Consortium agreement.
