On January 28, 2021 a Joint working meeting of UJEP, VSB-TUO and WASTen was organized Remote. Participants of the event were represented UJEP, i.e: Valentina Pidlisnyuk, Aigerim Mamirova, Robert Newton; VSB-TUO, i.e.: Pavel Lestinsky, Barbora Grycová, Katerina Klemencova, and WASTen: Vojtěch Brož. Pavel Lestinsky presented data of recently accomplished Lab experiment on developing the framework of technologcal process for production Miscanthus biochar and introduced results. Valentina Pidlisnyuk formulated requests to produced biochar to be tested in 2021 Phytomediation experiment with contaminated by trace elements soil. It is necessary to supply to VSB-TUO about 60 kg of raw miscanthus to receive targeted 20 kg of biochar. As for January 28, 14 kg of rhyzomes and 22 kg of biomass was posted.
Participants discussed the framework of planned Training 1 at VSB-TUO on Technological Regulations of Miscanthus waste processing to biogas and biochar. Preliminary Training is planned for the second part of May, 2021. Next Remote meeting is scheduled for April, 2, 2021 when Agenda of the Training and inputs from partners will be determined.
