On April 26-27 the second research Miscanthus field was established at the marginal land at Chomytov, Czech Republic. The first field was established in May 6, 2020. The following soil amendments are under evaluation on their impact to the crop’s production and soil changes: Sludge, Compost, Digestal, Biochar. The experiments were established in four replications, for establishing plantation of 2021 year 750 items of certificated rhizomes from Croatia (Illinois type) were planted.
The establishment of the plantation was jointly done by efforts of Crop Research Institute: Ing. Vojtech Vana, Mrs. Dvorjakova, Ing.Roman Honzik, Yaroslav Hladik and UJEP: Erasmus PhD student Aigerim Mamirova.
